During the first Covid lockdown, I embarked on creating a greetings card company from my bedroom. I created DNRKYLE which produces humorous LGBTQ+ themed cards. So far I have taken on design, sourcing materials, production as well as social media management, client engagement and budgeting. In the span of a year I sold over 400 cards shipping around the world. I have also raised £450 for my chosen charity. My cards are now stocked at The Common Press, a queer and intersectional bookshop and community hub in London.
Profits of the sales revenue was donated to Micro Rainbow, a London-based charity working with LGBTQ+ refugees and asylum seekers.
